Autowatch's Ghost is the world's first aftermarket CAN bus immobiliser. Ghost protects your car from key-cloning, hacking, and even key theft. The only way a thief could take a Ghost protected car is by physically towing it away, even then they will never be able to drive it! The Ghost has no key-fobs or LED indications to give away its location. This immobiliser uses the buttons in your vehicle such as those on the steering wheel, door panels or centre console, to allow you to make a unique, changeable, PIN code sequence that must first be entered before you can drive your car. Just like your credit card but you can make your car PIN even safer by making it up to 20 presses long!

In this short clip it shows the use of the Ghost immobiliser on a focus ST, at first no code is input with the original keys so therefore the car will not start, once the code is input using the mirror switches the car will allow you to start it.

TASSA (Tracking and Aftermarket Security System Association) was formed by aftermarket industry manufacturers and traders who are at the forefront of solutions for vehicle crime prevention. The new TASSA trade body will provide its own alternative set of standards for its members. This will meet the needs of the wider community and changes in technology.
